I was walking by an upscale tableware store 'Bernardaud',I noticed these charming little sculptures in their display window.. They were done beautifully in porcelain.. Workmanship amazed me because I know how difficult it is to create such details in porcelain.. The artist, Lin Hairong is a Chinese oil painter, born in 1975 in Beijing.. 'She attempts to convey the calm she feels when immersing herself in traditional arts, taking refuge in them while the frenzied
place of life in modern day china to speed by. Her porcelain figures possess the same trait that make her paintings so irresistibly charming, namely the subtle humor, tinged with irony''
